Yuzuriha is one of the Ten no Ryu (Dragons of Heaven) or also known as the Seven Seals. She is seen as one of the protectors of humanity in this tale. As the youngest of the group, she has a positive outlook on life. This is also due to the fact that she has not dealt with such hardships as Kamui or Subaru have, for example.
The young inugami (spirit dog) master attends Clamp Campus in the Junior High sector. Just like a child, Yuzuriha loves ice cream. She also comes equipped with Pocky to try and cheer anyone who looks down. Her reasoning behind this, is that people become easily agitated if they haven't eaten.
Her inugami, Inuki, has been with her since she was a small child. She sees him as her best friend and companion. Inuki can change into a sword and a shield. There are also other instances where he has changed into other objects such as a net. To make him transform, she whistles and puts her hands together as if in a prayer. (For more on Inuki go here)
Her blood related family consists of her grandmother who she lives with at the shrine located on Mt. Mitsumine. Nothing is known about her parents, but it's presumed that they died when she was young. Yuzuriha's other family is the Ten no Ryu.
The person she truly cares about is Kusanagi. He was the first person she met in Tokyo who could see Inuki. In her side story, Yuzuriha states that she would probably fall in love with the person who can see her Inuki. Low and behold, here comes Kusanagi talking about how Inuki is a good dog. On a side note, a strange quirk she has is sprouting cat ears and a tail whenever she's really
happy/confused/surprised etc. It's quite comical when she's in this state. Arashi usually
tries to ignore the sudden appearance of her ears. (A little side info, Nokoru, of Clamp Campus Detectives,
sprouts ears and a tail too!)
