The inugami (spirit dog) master can be described as an ordinary teenager. She tries her
best in school and has friends. She's outgoing and tries to live life to the fullest. Yuzuriha
can be seen as being cheerful a bit childish. This is especially true when her cat ears pop up or when blurts
out a random comment. An example of this was when the Shinken was going to be sealed. Yuzuriha states that.
I find these traits endearing. It's nice to meet someone about her age that isn't cynical and seemingly like an adult. She acts her age which is of a person still growing up and learning the ways of the world. Yuzuriha doesn't try to act all "grown up." She's the opposite of some "strong" characters that are seem too mature for their age. They seemed hardened with life and have no flaws. The thing with Yuzuriha is that she's normal and ordinary. She shows her weaknesses and goes through the trials and tribulations of growing up in adolescence.
Yuzuriha is also someone who is very optimistic considering the circumstance she's in. This shows how strong her character
truly is. She's still able to smile and have her head held higha even though the weight of humanity rests on her shoulders.
She doesn't allow this to slow her down though. Yuzuriha still takes things one step of the time.
Even though she is still a child, Yuzuriha is mature and understands the circumstances she's in. She knows what she has to do and takes the duties of being a Ten no Ryu seriously. Also though she has been taunted when she was little (see inuki), Yuzuriha still believes in people. Again this shows how strong she is inside.
