"Why shouldn't we kill humans?" This was the infamous question Satsuki asked Yuzuriha at the
battle in Shinjuku. At the time, she couldn't come up with an answer. All she truly say was that
that it was "wrong."
That wasn't a sufficient enough of a response for Satsuki, and thus Shinjuku
was destroyed. Inuki uses his "life" and protects her from the attack.
Kusanagi saves her and brings her to a hospital. When she awakes from a nightmare
involving Inuki, Yuzuriha starts to cry.
She was wracked with grief over the subsequent deaths that occurred when the
Shinjuku kekkai was destroyed. Just like Kamui, she started to blame herself over the
what ifs or if onlys of the situation.
Kusanagi tells her that she does know the answer on why we shouldn't kill humans. The
reason is because someone will cry over them. He says that she felt pain knowing that
other people died, but she didn't even know them. After he tells her this
she calms down and agrees.
I agree with this statement. It's because we feel remorse for a stranger when something tragic has
happened to them. Other species don't have that kind of
emotion. I'm sure some species of animal cry over a death of their own. Though would they cry over
someone outside their pack? It's a unique ability that humans possess. They can feel the pain
over someone else's loss.
